Founders' Day of Giving

In 1924, the incredible gifts of time, talent, and financial support from the Society of the Holy Child Jesus enabled Oak Knoll to open its doors for the first time. Since then, generations of Oak Knoll community members have benefited from and helped sustain and enhance Oak Knoll by supporting the Annual Fund. The Oak Knoll Annual Fund is a yearly fundraising program providing critical funds in support of the school’s operating budget. Oak Knoll does not receive outside funding from government or religious institutions, so we rely upon the Annual Fund to help make up the difference between the cost of tuition and the cost of educating each Oak Knoll student. Annual Fund dollars support the needs of today, making an already great educational experience an exceptional one, and your participation - regardless of the size of your gift - matters.

You will always have the option to direct your gift to the programming that means the most to you and your family, or you can leave your gift unrestricted so the funds can be directed where the need is greatest

Your gifts make a critical difference not just during the Founders’ Day of Giving but any day! Oak Knoll’s Mission asks much of us. We are called to develop “inquisitive students who think critically, embrace knowledge, respond with moral and ethical integrity, and make responsible choices that enrich their own lives and contribute to the lives of others.” We could not do that without you. When we ask for your support each year, we know we are one school among many other organizations seeking your contributions, so we are especially grateful when you choose Oak Knoll! The Annual Fund helps us maintain high-quality experiential programming, hands-on learning, top-notch faculty, facilities, and technology that ensure our students have the resources they need to succeed and flourish with integrity in an ever-changing world.

Gift Societies are the foundation of annual giving. By supporting Oak Knoll’s mission so generously, gift societies serve to inspire fellow members of our community to maintain our tradition of excellence in Pre-k -12 education.

Our Founders’ Circle provides incredible momentum with their exemplary support to Oak Knoll and our mission. Founders’ Circle (gifts of $1,000 and above) lays the foundation for Oak Knoll’s overall success on a yearly basis. Founders’ Circle donors are invited each year to the Head of School’s Reception in celebration of their generous support to Oak Knoll.

Oak Knoll gratefully receives gifts of all sizes. OKS receives gifts ranging from $10 to $50,000, and last year’s average parent gift was $2,050. We ask you to be as generous as your circumstances allow understanding that this is different for every family. It is your participation that matters most!
